@pagandawnmagazine  holds a great wee interview with myself  @armourdebbie  and  @amanda .edmiston all about the creative process behind the scenes of the  #talesofthetaibhsear  album and chapbook. The chapbook is almost sold out which is immense ! Thank you to everyone that’s brought copies. Your not only helping indie publishers who steer clear of amazon and all that but also independent creatives AND have helped raise funds to protect Scotland’s “sacred” sites and holy wells leading to the start of a whole new collective organisation with this singular purpose in mind. So  #thankyou  so so so so much !
  • Went to see the launch of burdellenmusic new album Silver
Went to see the launch of  @burdellenmusic  new album Silver Came last night. Blown away by it all. The poor pictures are no reflection on how hauntingly beautiful the album is. The support acts  @burntpaw  and Quinie were also incredible. I suggest getting all their albums in your ears. The night has left me feeling all melted like a cheese toastie and totally inspired. we have such incredible talent kicking about in Scotland please go and support them. Lovely to catch up with folk who came to our folk magic event and especially  @amy_elize  from  @folklorethursday  to talk all things

  • Its Saining not smudging Written a little article over on
It’s Saining not smudging. Written a little article over on the website about Scottish Folk Magic purification practices in solidarity with those helping to move folks away from the use of Sage and towards their own ancestral ways. ( @bloodandspicebush  ) Pictured is Juniper. Scottish Folks used Juniper to Sain their homes and livestock. Like smudging but not at all. We also use Rowan, Pine Candles aka fat wood, fire, burning bannocks and forespoken water. Check bio for link to full article.  #saining   #smudging   #minenotyours   #appropriation   #scottishherbs   #scottishfolkmagic   #folkmagic
